With results in from the primary election, John Cherry was successful in winning the Democratic Primary for the 27th State Senate seat, receiving over 60% of the votes.

We did it!
The results are in and we were successful in the primary! Thank you to everyone who supported me throughout the campaign, we would not have been successful without you! Thank you to the voters of the 27th State Senate district who have put their faith in me, I will work hard on your behalf. I have been overwhelmed by everyone’s support. On to November! Good work to everyone who ran, successful or not, it takes a ton of work to run and seek to serve your community.
